Yes it is a must do and I guess thousand of people talked and wrote about it.
The Saint Valentin (as we say in french) ☺
So I will keep it short and simple.
I went to this Japanese restaurant with a friend of mine. It was not really for Valentine's day but for my belated birthday gift. And as I never say no to sushi, it was a good choice.
The place is called Kai Sushi and it is not far from Hardbrücke if you know Zurich.
We were warmly welcome and seated and because of Valentine's day each place had a little heart in chocolate,Swiss chocolate of course!
We had choice between a menu or choosing plates from the sushi rail and we went for the second option because more convenient for us.
The special plus of the evening was the Champagne à discrétion 😋
The sushi were all yummy and fresh and overall it was a really nice time.
Every good thing having an end, we finally asked for the bill and the main waiter who was really lovely came to us, greeted us and said, it might be cliché but we at Kai Sushi, we celebrate love everyday and not only today because we love our people, our guests, our suppliers and our food. and before leaving he did the fist bump gesture.👊👊
My friend and I bumped happily back and the man said:
"Do you know what the fist stand for?"
Me, a bit incredulous, looked at my friend like, did I had too much champagne? 😓
And the man goes like: "The fist has the same size as a heart, and that goes with our motto which is to love."
I had to laugh so much but that was a great conclusion to this nice moment.
So, lovely people, next time that you are fist bumping with someone, do it with love.
And if you have the opportunity, share your food as well because "sharing is caring!"
